Koch Chemie Quattro-Acid-Star XL is an extremely powerful, heavy-duty acidic special cleaner featuring a 4-acid formulation (hydrofluoric, hexafluorosilicic, hydrochloric, and sulfuric acid) with a pH of -0.6.

Key Details

pH Level: -0.6 (4-acid hammer classification)

Composition: Hydrofluoric acid, hexafluorosilicic acid, hydrochloric acid, and sulfuric acid; quick-separating per ÖNORM 5106

Primary Applications: Steel surfaces, undamaged single-piece acid-resistant painted aluminum rims, weathered truck chassis, and unglazed wash bay tiles. It effectively removes burnt-in brake dust, rust bloom, limescale, and tough environmental or organic dirt.

Dilution & Usage: Dilute 1:6 to 1:30 in water (always add water to the product first). Apply to a pre-wetted surface, allow a short reaction time, scrub stubborn areas with a brush if needed, and rinse thoroughly with high pressure.

Important Safety Warnings

Do Not Use On: Hot surfaces, glass, mirrors, marble, unprotected or sensitive metals (such as zinc or aluminum), new glazed tiles, or biological service water treatment plants.

Handling: Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Due to the presence of hydrofluoric and other strong acids, appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye protection, respirator) must be worn during handling.
